Coffee quality is a complex interplay of factors, from origin and varietal characteristics to processing methods and roast profiles. However, one often overlooked element that significantly impacts cup quality is the presence of under-developed coffee seeds, or "quakers."  While seemingly innocuous, quakers can negatively affect the sensory profile of roasted coffee, leading to undesirable flavors and aromas.

We are excited to announce our new Wholesale Distributor who will handle Latin America. We’ve partnered with Torch Coffee Company in Guatemala, led by Sara Parish de Edward, to help gain new customers in Latin America. We understand how important it is to communicate with someone who speaks your native language, so we’re very fortunate for Sara and Torch Coffee’s timing to set up shop in Guatemala. 

After spending over a year and a half with SOVDA, I’ve noticed several common traits among coffee roasters who buy or want to buy our machines.
